AP Studio Art summer assignment.

I had to use a medium I've never used before, so I chose oil pastels. I really don't like them. I didn't like how limited I was in colors. There was no way for me to blend just the right color and use it over a very large area like the wall or his coat. So I ended up using a reddish brown color for the wall rather than a reddish-grey which is what I wanted it to be, and his coat was going to be grey with a hint of purple, but I had to make it blue to get the color to be consistant throughout.

The hair was fun though.

I doubt I'll be using oil pastels any time in the near future however.
